My kind of morning commute July 31

So I was an hour late? I'll take a crap shelf/bow over tail lights any day.

This was a truly violent Derecho especially over Northeastern South Dakota in the Glaicial Lakes region as well as in West Central Minnesota ( Laq Qui Parle / Chippewa Counties ) where wind gusts in these regions ranged from 70-115Mph.

Many friends in Laq Qui Parle County suffered great tree and property damage but most of all corn and soybean fields may be a major $$ loss if they cannot recover from this event.

The corn has many broken stalks with 50% bent flat and may curve back up, soybeans are cropped over but appear salvagable in many locals.

This blasted corn will make for a very difficult combine this fall.
