Saturday outing...Ney Park and Monticello

Kids and I spent the day dinging around in the snow for what looks like it could end up being one of the last times for this season. 'Bout freakin' time if you ask me. It has been a long, cold winter up here (-9 to start the day but warmed into the mid teens by afternoon). Started out at Ney Park to do a little cross country skiing then headed up to Monticello for a bite to eat. Swung by Swan Park then up by the power plant to check on the eagles which have been hanging around. I did the photos on the laptop which is not calibrated so if the colors are off, I'll fix them later.

Swan Park in Monticello, MN. A few BIG lenses hanging around today.

Mississippi River near the nuke plant. Saw a really fresh coyote track along the river also. That would have been cool to see.
