Really wishing the setup for Saturday had more moisture to work with. It is SO close to making the minimum threshold for a good cold core tornado day in northeast Kansas or southeast Nebraska tucked in nice and close to the surface low. I'm still on the fence but leaning towards waiting for a day with better moisture return....but the lapse rates are killer. Bottom line is I don't know yet if it is worth pulling the trigger and head south.
In the mean time, here are some random shots from last weekend from Grand Rapids, Schoolcraft State Park, Miners Memorial, and the road to Ely.
