June 3 2016 Central Minnesota - Quest of the Needle 2016 2.0

Actually more like Quest for the Needle missed by 20.  Another low instability high shear day.   Had 2 storms to choose from.   Always pick the southern one because the inflow will be cleaner.  Right?

BZZZZT! Nope, Spring Hill in Stearns county a mere 20 odd miles north of my storm produces and mine?  Rain.  Yup.  Rain.

Best lighting deflector ever invented: the lightning trigger.  Every time I get it out, the lightning disappears.  Like magic.
