October 27 Iridium flare

Headed out to take a look at the Holmes comet last night and took in a -8 magnitude iridium flare. The moon is SO bright I didn't even notice the flare until it was starting to go. Also had the altitude on the camera off obviously as the flare barely made it into the frame. These flares are a good pass-time when the night skies are clear and nothing else is going on. More information here.
