Land-i-cane on it's way?

Wow, looks like we may have our first "land-i-cane" of the season late this week (Thursday-ish). For those of you not familiar with the term, basically it is a cut off vertically stacked low pressure system which intensifies rapidly. If this was to happen a month from now, we would be looking at our first major snowstorm of the season as it pulls cold air in behind it. Regardless, this system will have plenty of moisture to work with and even if we get dry slotted here (fine with me as it is plenty wet), it is going to be a big wind maker. 50+ surface gusts are not out of the question. Cullen has the day off from school so maybe we'll go find some stuff blowing around.

Enjoy it. Looks like a tornado-fest in the making. Be safe! Have fun!

Not chasing this. Too much stuff going on with another project right now plus I am really burnt out on traveling. Looks like KS will see a good show tomorrow.
