-4 magnitude flare over home

Jessica got to see her first iridium flare last night right from the front yard. It was only slated to be a negative 4 magnitude but for whatever reason it seemed more in the -6 range. Regardless, she thought it was cool how Cullen could count down to the second when it first appeared and how long it was visible.

Looks like we are going to dodge the bullet on the latest winter storm. This would be a good one to go sit in Albert Lea on I90. 8" of snow in 30-40 mph east winds would be fun. The I35/I90 junction would be a good one to watch or just east of Austin where I90 makes that kink and the snow will be blowing over both lanes. I'm sure Doug will be there....
