More fall color

Sitting here watching some crap storms roll past east of me. I guess any convection in October is good. Could be worse as Red Lodge, Montana has over 2 feet of new snow and it is still falling. So as I look at the Davis telling me it is 74 degrees out now, I'll just enjoy it as the other shoe will drop shortly.

Pics were all taken with the sun just above the western horizon. Reason for the weird yellow/gold glow.

Note one of the pairs of eagles I have been watching all year on their favorite limb. I'm already looking forward to their return next spring to nest again.

This was nice surprise yesterday as a 3 1/2 year old eagle made his way through. Note he is just getting the white head and tail feathers.

Time to head south again.

Beautiful shots man, the eagle in flight is my fav. We're still "green" here and hopefully start the transition soon.
