2009 eagle migration is in full force
After a lackluster attempt last weekend and some really crappy shooting conditions, a few rays of sunlight peeking through the window this morning was enough to get Melinda and I out of bed and heading for the Sherburne NWR near Orrock, MN. After spotting a few eagles and hawks on the short drive up there, we had a feeling it was going to be good. We saw at least a dozen eagles on the refuge but as luck would have it, we lost our good shooting light as the low clouds and drizzle moved in once again. Craig Schultz was also out on the refuge this morning and you can see some his shots HERE.
Here are some of our shots....in awful light. One of these days, hopefully the sun will cooperate again.
