Ran up to Nisswa, MN last night to see what the CME impact would trigger. Ended up being the best northern lights show I've seen since December 14th, 2006!

The only down side to this night was I was going to stream it live. Had the mega fire-wire, the VX2100 down to 4 fps and shooting the aperture wide open but the aurora was not quite bright enough. Maybe the next one.

Wow! Do you expect there to be any more visible in MN this week or is it all over? Any suggestions for sources to know when they're coming? I can't believe I missed this.
