Well, this could be an interesting day. Gonna try stringing video of the protest march this afternoon and evening at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN. Bringing two video cams (one in the new back pack case), extra contacts, and an emergency industrial eye-wash kit just in case I end up a little too close to the action. Had second thoughts this morning as the odds of getting accidentally arrested (basically getting in the way) are about 1 in 10. Obviously I'll do my best to stay out of the battles between the protesters and the riot police but still get the best shots possible. Will head for the state capital where the "march" is starting then head towards the Excel Center and try to get a good vantage point. Stay tuned....
